This Runner enables you to fit any 2JZ-GTE intake plenum to your 2JZ-GE Vvti.
The adaptor removes the big, ugly and inefficient cross over intake for the better looking, better flowing forward facing Gte unit and whilst the crossover style Ge intake can be used in turbo applications the is the method we would recommend.
Unlike when adapter plates are used this runner keeps the position of the plenum exactly the same as it would be on a o.e 2JZ-GTE, it keeps the intake at the same height, same distance and same angle to the engine avoiding cleareance issues commonly found elsewhere.
The adaptor comes with the fuel rail in two options the first is a low profile option so that the stock throttle butterfly can be used or a starighter full size option if an aftermarket electronic throttle is being used (the low profile rail can be used in both applications). Both of the rail designs accepts the O.e sized GE injectors.
Some light clearance work to the GTE manifold is required including a power steering reservoir relocation and a change in throttle cable (if using the GTE throttle butterfly) and of course it's it recommended to use new gaskets on the manifold.
Leadtime is generally up to approx 2 weeks.
